Jordan Turner, Boone County AttorneyJordan and her family have been a part of Boone County for several generations. After graduating from Conner High School, she attended Northern Kentucky University and spent her free time serving local high school students as a volunteer leader in the region’s active Young Life Christian ministry. During that time, Jordan also worked as an interstate child support case worker at the Boone County Child Support Office. She graduated summa cum laude from NKU with a Speech Communication degree and magna cum laude from NKU Chase College of Law.

Jordan has always believed in the power of the justice system to make communities safer, protect the vulnerable, and uphold the rule of law. She has worked in a variety of prosecutorial roles. She was previously awarded an internship with International Justice Mission in Washington, D.C., working on human sex trafficking cases overseas. She also served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Floyd County, Kentucky, and a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky. During that time, she tried numerous felony cases to jury verdict. Jordan later founded a Florence-based private practice in 2014, Dallas & Turner, PLLC, focusing on civil litigation and trial practice. While in private practice, Jordan prosecuted complex tort cases and was accepted into the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Jordan was elected as the Boone County Attorney on November 8, 2022. She is the first woman in Boone County’s history to hold this office.

Jordan currently serves on the Kentucky County Attorney Association Board of Directors and the Kentucky Judicial Commission on Mental Health, where she is part of a Juvenile Justice legislative subgroup studying juvenile competency standards. Jordan also volunteers as a board member of Northern Kentucky Navigators Ministry and is a member of the scholarship review team for the Florence Rotary Club.

One of Jordan’s most noteworthy accomplishments as County Attorney came in 2024, when she initiated efforts statewide to make schools safer. Jordan testified in Frankfort in favor of creating a law that provides prompt notice to schools when students are charged with serious offenses, which was signed into law on April 4, 2024.

Jordan and her husband, Ryan, have three children and reside in Union, Kentucky, where they are active in their church.
