Jordan was elected as the Boone County Attorney on November 8, 2022. She is the first woman in Boone County’s history to hold this office.

Prior to taking office, Jordan worked with International Justice Mission in Washington, D.C., a faith-based human rights organization. Jordan also served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Floyd County, Kentucky, and a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Jordan later founded Dallas & Turner, PLLC, in Florence, Kentucky, focusing on civil litigation and trial practice.

Since taking office, Jordan initiated statewide efforts to strengthen school safety and testified in support of legislation requiring notice to schools when students are charged with serious offenses. That law passed in 2024 with near unanimous support from the General Assembly. Jordan was also part of initiating efforts which lead to passage of Kentucky’s first ever anti-grooming statute in 2026.

Jordan has had the privilege of contributing to Kentucky’s Domestic and Interpersonal Violence Prosecution Manual, released by the Kentucky Attorney General in 2024, and Jordan secured a position for the Boone County Attorney’s Office on the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet’s Child Fatality/Near-Fatality External Review Panel.

Under Jordan’s leadership, Boone County has launched the Blueprint for Safety workgroup on domestic violence – the first group of its kind in Boone County and only the second in the state. Jordan also launched the County Attorney Resource and Education Center (the “CARE Center”) at the Boone County Justice Center, staffing the center with advocates to provide assistance to victims.

Jordan was recognized by the Kentucky Attorney General as Kentucky’s Outstanding County Attorney in 2026.

Jordan currently serves on the Kentucky County Attorney Association Board of Directors and the Kentucky Judicial Commission on Mental Health, where she is part of the Juvenile Justice workgroup.
